SOCATOTS Edinburgh begins new era

SOCATOTS is delighted to announce that it will continue to offer sessions to youngsters in the Edinburgh area for a further five years after Bryan Robertson extended his franchise agreement.

The world's first soccer specific scheme for pre-school children began in 2002 when Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS) founder Simon Clifford devised a programme that would enhance youngster's development using the medium of football.

Since than, the organisation has expanded to over 80 centres worldwide, with the growing base of United Kingdom-based operations now joined by overseas set-ups in nations such as Dubai, Australia, Canada and the Far East.

Bryan is one of the longest-running franchisees, having joined the organisation in 2004, and he will now continue to develop one of the most successful and largest SOCATOTS centres in the UK.

Speaking on his decision, Bryan said: "I'm really happy to be signing up to another five year period with SOCATOTS as I have really enjoyed my time running a franchise in the Edinburgh area and believe the organisation, as a brand, are moving forward year on year. 

"My franchise has a good reputation in the area and is becoming a  well known local name. I hope to build on this and increase the opportunities for under fives in the area to take part even further over next five year period."

Mark Rasche, SOCATOTS managing director, said: "We're delighted that Bryan has decided to continue the fine work he has already done, and we look forward to enjoying his ongoing success for another five years at least.

"We've had one of our biggest years in terms of growth within the organisation, and we will begin to see the effects of our work over the coming years as more and more youngsters emerge from the programme."
