February 25th and 26th saw the first International SOCATOTS training weekend of 2006. SOCATOTS franchisees from around the globe joined the Head Office Team at David Lloyd in Leeds for a fun-packed weekend of seminars and activity-based training along with the launch of SOCATOT the Mascot!
SOCATOT the Mascot welcomed franchisees as they began the training on Saturday, posed for photos with all attendees and then took part in SOCATOTS session with children at David Lloyd.
The weekend also saw the launch of SOCATOTS Birthday Parties and a new 'Throwing and Catching Module'. The weekend, which forms part of the on-going education for all franchisees is vital for the development and growth of SOCATOTS in their areas. Our ongoing training also ensures that SOCATOTS continues to maintain its exceptionally high standards and quality as a football based activity for children under 5 around the globe. Comments from franchisees:
"We have gone away with fresh ideas, confidence and feeling part of the SOCATOTS family" "Meeting other franchisees is invaluable, there is no substitute for mixing with others and sharing ideas" "Very motivating weekend - can't wait to get back and put new ideas into practise" "If I hadn't of come I would have missed out on seeing the great potential of SOCATOTS Birthday Parties" "The SOCATOTS CD is fantastic!" "SOCATOTS the Mascot - Genius!" The history of the SOCATOT
The creation of the latest SOCATOT mascot is somewhat of a family affair. Mary Clifford, daughter of SOCATOTS founder Simon, was the original “SOCATOT” and gave inspiration for a series of SOCATOT logos and the chararistic Brazilian style outfit and spiky waft of blond hair. Mary, now 5, is no longer a SOCATOT, but in our eyes she always will be.
