The monkey themed day at Marwell Wildlife on 5th July was our 2nd Annual event and was the best yet with over 200 chidlren taking part raising well over £1,000 for Caudwell Children. The money raised from the event will be going to a wheelchair especially for Alicia Pannell who was the beneficiary of our 2008 event. The march commenced at 11.30am covering 1 lap of the wildlife park and led by our guest of honour Alicia and her family, Sharon (Alicia's mum) said 'it was really good to see the Socatots team again and all our children and families and take part in an event that we know can make a massive difference to a sick child's life like Alicia, we are gratefully in debt for all the work Socatots and Caudwell Children have done to make Alicia more comfortable and we look forward to taking part in the event year on year.
